Reflection

I have contributed by editing and designing the website . In addition , i also did the Mother's Day and Father's Day project page but had some help for the survey part of the page and also there was contribution from my group members for the our stories part . For the animal shelter visit i have also helped to bath the dogs and play with them and i've also contributed some ideas during the process of this english project.
There were some challenges that i had to face while completing the project and one of it was time management. It was hard to find time to complete the project as there were other assignments assigned from different classes . It was hard to juggle everything cause there were many datelines that had to be met . Secondly , most of the things were done last minute like our plan for the refugee school was pretty last minute and the person we e-mailed did not reply , so we couldn't visit the refugee school . We also planned to visit the cancer patient or another refugee school but it was too late . Lastly , there was an issue in communication as some of us did not what the other members were doing or who is in charge of what . There was also a lack of response sometimes when we ask questions in our group chat .
But along the way those issues were solved as for time management , we managed to find time to complete the website and also other activities . It was more to how we planned things out and how we prioritise everything but eventually everything worked out . Secondly , the last minute issue was solved as we found another place to visit which was the animal shelter and thankfully though we enquired late we still managed to visit the shelter. Lastly , the communication issue took quite some time to solve but slowly we managed to establish a pretty good communication and manage to get everything in the right place .

Honestly ,there were parts of the project were enjoyable like when we visited the animal shelter . It was fun since we got to play with the dogs and at the same time it was eye opening to know that there are dogs that have went through difficult situations that need to be rescued . Through that visit our team bond more and it was definitely a memory that i wouldn’t forget especially when we walked down the road and sang songs and also said hi to random people that drove by . Not only that , I also enjoyed writing thank you notes on the receipts of the restaurant we had our meal at even though we couldn’t put it into the website , it was still a fun little project to do.But all in all i enjoyed the whole process of the project.

Through this project i have acquired a few TGCs and one of it is the lifelong learning which is learning how to create a website and also how to edit it . I had to learn it on my own by experimenting how to edit everything and also how to design it . This skill would definitely be useful in my studies and also when i’m working in the industry as i would need to have a portfolio for my course and also when i’m applying for a job. Secondly , I also acquired the communication skills like when i was interviewing other people for the kindness video and also presenting the some of the ideas for the website. Lastly , I have also acquired the thinking and problem solving skills like when we couldn’t include the receipt idea , we switched it to a kindness survey that sent to people around the campus and also interviewing some people on their opinion about kindness.
